Just install the Stillen grounding wire today. It works!! The respond of the paddle shift is much better. The launch is smoother than before. It worth the money. The installation is a piece of cake. around 30 mins. I take this chance to thank you for the photo instruction in the forum. Its really helpful and give much better advice.

Man... I am getting addict to this forum. Too much good things to learn..

you made a connection between terminals didn't you, get a nice arc? I did it too, not to my own car luckily, just my bosses. He asked me to switch his battery when I used to work in car audio. I nearly grabbed it bare handed too, but they realized what i was about to do and quickly tapped it out of the way with the rubber mallet.

Install

Do you have to disconnect the battery. I see no point, why not connect it last and not have to reset anything. Am I wrong.

Don't you think you'd want to reset after a mod anyway?

I didn't. It's already grounded. I connected the main to neg. last and was done. No reset. It's not that kind of mod.

You'll benefit from this mod if your G is automatic.

Tools
10mm
(Engine cover and most of the bolts)
12mm
(G bolt)

Before you do anything leave both doors open because you need to reset your window setting at the end.

refer too #25 by EZDozzit

Unscrew (5)bolts on the engine cover and take off the cover.

Look inside the battery and you will see a block box right in front of the battery. Try to unclip it and put the box to the side (It wont disconnect! just put it aside so you get more room to work with).
Attachment 169432

First you need to discharge the negative terminal of the battery.
(this will be really painful to take off... the manufactor jacked up the tip so the screw wont come off. Just take your time and try to take it off because IT WILL COME OFF! )
Attachment 169433

Look for 4 point cable (Sliver or Red). Find the longest side and that will be for point A. After you attach the cable to point A put the bolt STILLEN gave you (do not connect to the battery yet!)
Attachment 169434
Attachment 169435

A to B
NowThe harness is surrounded by a grommet; the cable can be squeezed through here.
(Soon with pics)

Attachment 169436
Unscrew the bolt with 10mm.
Now connect the second end to point B.
Attachment 169437

After attaching point B take the cable underneath the intake and attach the third point to C. (10mm)
Attachment 169438

Before you head towards point D and E detach the container. (10mm)
(This will allow you to have more room to work with point D and E)
Attachment 169439
Attachment 169440

Finally attach the last end to point D. Do not get confussed. ITS THE LOWER ONE ON THE RIGHT. (10mm)
Attachment 169441

After attaching point D. Take out a single cable line and attach that to point E. (10mm)
Attachment 169442
Attachment 169443

Now put the container back on after you attached point D and E
Attachment 169444

From E to F make sure your cable go under the intake.
Next to F and I there is another black box blocking it. Unclip it and put that to aside. (more room to work with...) F IS LEFT I IS RIGHT!
Attachment 169445

Now attach the last end to F. (10mm)
Attachment 169446

Take out your last cable and look for shortest side. That will be heading to point G (12mm) RIGHT SIDE NOT LEFT!
Attachment 169444

G to H make sure your cable go under the intake again. Attach the second end to point H. (10mm)
Attachment 169448

H to I. I is right next to F (10mm)
Attachment 169449
Attachment 169446

Final
connect your negative terminal back and your all set
Attachment 169451
Attachment 169452
Attachment 169453
Attachment 169454

And your done Put your engine cover back on and your good to go for test drive
Attachment 169455
Attachment 169456

If you need more pics just leave comments and Ill keep you guys updated!

I am seeing a bunch of kits on ebay that look very similar to the stillen one but for much cheaper obviously. I'm curious if anyone has had any success with grounding kits from ebay at all?
