Painted pinstripe removal

Anyone have experience doing this on the G? I have a 2012 G37s Sedan with a painted one on the right side and vinyl on the left. Left was in accident and shop put on vinyl pinstripe. Tri-coat white paint job from factory. There's also a painted Infiniti logo on both sides I want to remove.

I need a method that won't mess the paint up and doesn't involve me re-painting the car in any way.

You're stuck with the painted one if you don't want to repaint. There is literally no way to remove it without hurting the paint around it.

Well i dontt believe that you’d have to paint the whole panel just for the stripe. You could have a shop sand and paint just the stripe portion and then blend it into the rest of the body. Like they would with a scratch.

I think you are underestimating the difficulty in matching a 3 stage pearl white, and then what it takes to blend an area like that.

Yea the body shop already told me he would have to paint the whole section if painting any of it. so that would mean 1 sectionon the left for Infiniti logo and 3 on the right for logo and pinstripe.

I guess for now I could leave it since I'm going to wrap it, and I would only need to remove the vinyl pinstripe I would think?

I could bring the car by his place and get a quote for the work though.. it may not be much and I could have the car without that stuff until I do get it wrapped.. and then I won't have any pinstripes in the way or 1 side with pinstripe if I remove the wrap one day.

If you are going to wrap it then I would just remove the vinyl pin stripe and make sure everything else is nice and "flat" so the wrap lays nice. If you ever decide to remove the wrap then you could tackle the painted pin stripe at that time.

Sand it and paint it to remove it. No other options other than wrap.
