xpel headlight protectors

Well I was hoping to install these to protect my headlights from yellowing and rock chips. These things are so dam thick that there is no way they will conform to the contours of our headlights. It's like trying to make plexiglass conform. There might be a different brand that is thinner and more workable, but this isn't them.

They probably would be ok for a flat surface.

I hope they will allow me to return them. I wouldn't recommend these.

they will work, with a lot of heat. but if you want a thinner film, try Lamin-X. But they won't offer much protection. Xpel is designed to withstand rock impacts to prevent cracking or chips.

I got to thinking that may have been the issue (not enough heat). I wonder if I am screwed since I've already wet it down. When I try to re apply it.
