Meguiars Ultimate Polish Followed by Carnuba Wax?

Haven't really done a true polish/wax job on my 09 OB G37, just wash & wax and then only 2-3x a year
I have the following Meguiars products:
Ultimate Compound (for when I painted my taillights and had to compound the clear coat)
Ultimate Polish
Gold Class Carnauba Plus Liquid Wax
And a Cheapy Turtle Wax Random Orbit Buffer

Would the Polish followed by the wax be a good plan? Car hasn't been in the sun too much and I don't have any water spot etching, just basically swirls as far as I can tell.

Can I use both products on the plastic bumpers & spoilers too?

Should I even bother using the buffer, I was hoping I could at least use it for the final wax but if it's best by hand (until I can get a Porter Cable) then I'm willing to get a workout, probably deserve it anyway for putting it off for so long.
Thanks for any help w/ this and are these Meguiars products some of the better ones?

What is your main focus? Getting rid of swirls? Putting on a coat of protection before the summer?

The cheapy buffer most likely won't do anything to the swirls so you'll need a better DA for polishing.

Get the PC! It is well worth it! I slacked off for the longest time but now that I have one, I wonder why I didn't get one sooner!

My main focus is getting rid of swirls and restoring the overall finish as best I can w/ my limited resources. I don't mind doing it by hand if I can still get good results and I will be getting a Porter Cable a few months from now.
Just wanted to know if this can be accomplished w/ the two products I listed and without the DA.

You won't be able to remove the swirls without a DA.. Just wax it now and when you get the PC you can do the full detail.

Try Zaino

I've been using this for a long time. It goes on very easily and comes off the same way. Leaves no residue. I can do a car with about 2 ounces. Look on their website. I highly recommend it.
