Debadge Scratches

I recently debadged my G (the infiniti lettering and g37s) and there are minor scratches that let you see the outline of the lettering. I'm not sure how to get the scratches out to make it a clean rebadge, any suggestions?

I used megs cleaner/polish (#6 i believe but im not sure cause the bottle isnt in front of me) with some gingerly rubbing and they came out just fine. Then just a little bit of wax the area they were at, and it will be like glass.

Least this is what I did

Did you use a buffer at all?

I don't have buffer but ive heard buffing it out works well. If I don't have a buffer, where could I take it to have someone do it for me?

i just did mines. Use meguiars scratch x 2.0 and an applicator pad. Will remove them in seconds. Also good for the scratches left under your door handles from your nails.

Agree with the folks that have used a cleaner wax. Had the issue on my 08 Mada when i de-badged it. There weren't scratches but an outline of the letters that you could see in certain sun angles after the goo gone strip down. Cleaner wax and a micro-pad. Good scrub. Buffed out with a micro towel. Done. Oh' prior to that I used a dish soap that strips the factory wax, and all other waxes, so that you are working from a clean surface after the goo gone and prior to the wax.
