How can I get rid of painted pinstripes?
I bought my car used and they were already there so I brought my car to the body shop they told me I have to repaint my car to get rid of them, is it true? Anyway to get rid of them without repaint or wrap my car?

Are you sure it was painted? I remember my accord way back when had vinyl pinstripes and I was told a heat gun or a blow dryer would help remove the film.
I'm sure someone else on here can correct me if I'm wrong.

As long as the pinstripes weren't clearcoated over you should be able to remove them. However, depending on the length of time they have been on you might have some sun fade from where the paint was covered to where the paint has not been.

No matter if they were clearcoated you should be able to sand them off by way of wetsanding.
There is still paint under them strips, but you have to be very careful because if there is clearcoat on top.
Because that means there isn't clear on the bottom of it and would require a re-clear.
Pick at it and see if you either chip or pull it off.
