Fully Detail '10 G37 IP & Subaru '06 STi

Cleaned my IP G37 along with my cousins STi;

Products used today for both cars;

Armor All Wash & Wax Soap
2 Bucket Method
2 Microfiber Towel 36" square feet
Poorboy's World Poly - Elastic Clay
XMT Series Speed Clay Lube
Meguiars Polishing Compound (for major and light scratches)
Meguiars Swirl X Remover (for 2nd compound removing scratches)
Meguiars NXT Tech Wax 2.0 (Wax&Wet look)
Meguiars Quik Detailer (removing dried up wax or missed spots)

Let's start with my G37, there were a lot of light scratches from my previous microfiber towel from wiping down the car.. Decided to remove them since I had nothing to do the whole day.

I Applied Meguiars Polishing Compound, Swirl X Remover, Tech Wax 2.0, and Quik Detailer on the whole car;

Misc photos;
Engine Bay

Hood Up & Front Bumper

MyG37.com Decal

SHINY! Rear left fender!

Need to clean up the trunk tomorrow and interior! More pictures of interior cleanup tomorrow!

Subaru 06 STi
When I have the chance to drive this vehicle.. Man it is sure fun to hit boost the ENTIRE time! With that damn down pipe my cousin has on with the HKS exhaust.. Quick!

That Seibon CF hood he has on, the hood scoop is a turn off, it's fading from all that heat.. We have no idea how to fix the oxidation, anybody?

Pictures;

Enjoy!

Both of those cars look very nice. How long ago did your cousin get his hood? Maybe he can contact Seibon for help with a replacement. Their pretty reasonable guys.

He actually traded his OEM hood and $100 for that CF hood. I'll tell him about contacting Seibon for a hood scoop replacement or something.

Thanks.

Nice job! I would think the compound would be a bit harsh on the paint, but glad it worked out for you.

Nice job on the detail.
all CF will fade and turn yellow under the sun/heat. dont think seibon will help regarding that.

I thought it would be easy using the compound, actually it dries up pretty quick.. So I had to get on it ASAP, but it worked out well.

Thanks, yeah his hood scoop gets pretty hot.. but the rest of his hood is in prestine looking.

We were about to trade wheels for a day, but we were lazy to find out if our rear G's 10.5 vossen wheel will fit on a STi.

I ball in both of those shoes..

The Vi(black mamba yellow nike) they are comfortable af! Very light and feels great when they are on. You can use these shoes for running also.
I prefer using those shoes indoor because underneath my shoe is like DEAD FLAT treads. I have more of a vertical leap with these on too.

The V(purple nike) they are a little bit heavier than the new ones, but they feel great like the Vi's. I only use them for indoor only because I don't want to risk them like my Vi's.

I also use a Spalding Never Flat ball, if you're curious what ball I use

Very nice, yes I was very impressed with the weight of the new ones, I hooped in the east l.a.'s a few times, left my grinch's ds. I'm just nervious of the ankle support that's why I wanted a little feedback, but I think I want to go back to them.

I'm currently using foam's for comfort and support but I think I'm going to try the kobes more. Thank you for your reply.

Funny, I think random shots of our trunks would teach us a lot about one another. Might be a strange thread.

Oh man those Grinch's color is sweet! Too bad they are like $300 now

Well I rolled my ankle during a game with my kobe vi's.. Doing the up and under move and landed wrong on my ankle..

2 days of barely any walking on my left ankle and wore an ankle support went to go shoot around with my buddy and I was able to do it. Did not feel any pain, but played it safe not to mess up my ankle again.

lol true.

Correct me if in wrong here but i use meguiars ultimate quick detailer and wax series all the time and when you put on your tech wax and then apply meguiars quick detailer your technically just removed all your wax. Anytime you use a quick detailer your removing whatever dirt was on top of the wax but you also have to re apply the wax that was there since when you wipe the detailer off you pull the wax along with it.
