WannabeDetailed: 1CleanG 2008 G37

This is my first ever write up, and I decided to document the entire process so I could do it.

Lance (1CleanG) hit me up a while back about doing the exterior of his car this spring before our opening meet, and I obliged. Showed up at his house at 8am and didn't leave until 6. Was even there to unload his new wheels off the Fedex truck. Car needed some loving, especially in the clay department. Ended up polishing up very nicely and ended up getting about 90$ of the swirls and scratches. Could really use a slightly more aggressive polish, and learning to wets and would have helped with a couple deep scratches.

Anyways. Write up.

Armorall Wash (bleh, using it up )
Clay with Meguires Clay and Meguires Quick Detail
Polished with Meguires M105
Finishing Polish of Menzerna 106fa
Sealed with Blackfire Sealant
Waxed with P21S
Black WOW on Trim
Invisible Glass on Windows

Car Upon Arrival

Wash

Clay

Under the Lights

Polishing

Needed another pass

Checking

Final Product

Thanks!

Yea, it was pretty cold, rainy, and even snowed a couple weeks ago. But the past week it has warmed up quite a bit. It was in the 70s today.

Nicely done Janik! You'll have to work on mine at some point. It desperately needs it.
