Infiniti or other brand car covers any good?

So I park my car outside in the drive way and wondering if Infiniti factory car covers are any good if not what brands are better? Do they tend to scratch or mar the paint? What about summer time heat in California would it melt ontonthe car? Is it a good idea to use the car cover or not? Thanks forbany insight.

I had a Noah car cover back in the day - made by Wolf Automotive. Custom fit to the car - it was 100% weather proof, came with a locking cable as well. Guaranteed to not scratch the paint, and no it won't melt - it's fabric.. I had it through a few Florida summers.

The cover by itself will not scratch the paint. But what if you are putting the cover on a car that is not spotless clean... wont the cover, as you're putting it on, scrape the dirt against your paint and scratch it??
