do glazes really remove swirl marks?
so local car wash/detailer offers detailing service which uses 3M imperial hand glaze..they claim it removes swirl marks. Does anyone have any experience with this product? my car is black and has tons of swirls.

No, it doesn't a glaze only fills swirls in temporarily and makes them much less visible. They are still there and they will reappear after a few rains or washes. Glazes don't correct imperfections they hide them. Your swirls WILL come back when the glaze washes off.
To get rid of them you must use some level of abrasive polish, preferably by machine application although you can get some improvement with certain products applied by hand if you want to work yourself to death for limited results. Also be very cautious of glazes that call themselves a polish but have no polishing capability. They are just a glaze in disguise.

I like yhe chemical guys non slick gloss enhancer. It's a really good product, it really glosses up the paint but still allows you to use a sealant. But ya invest in a porter cable and polish. Use glaze to enhance shine, not as a swirl cover. I use to do everything by hand, you will get limited results, then I bought a ****ty Simonz polisher with disnt do anything. Then i got a Porter cable Abd it's great. Just buy one. They are 150ish on ebay
