You guys can honestly say that those specks won't bother you? They'd drive me nuts! And those marks can not be polished or buffed trust me. That panel needs to be repainted.

 

About 6 months ago I was driving home late one evening and noticed some crap with plastic bag landed and eggs on my hood. As I was going around the corner, some a***hole threw something. I stopped and went back and of course no one to be found. I almost called the police but fact that I had a drink or two didn't would not be a good thing. Also since I didn't see anyone too dark, it would be very hard to pick out who did what.

I got home and sprayed water for at least good 15 minutes.
Luckily no scratch or damage. Damn kids...

 

I have white specks in the paint on my hood that is a little bit of an annoyance. I think the body shop burnt through the clear coat when they were buffing the car. Long story short, too late to mention something because I didn't notice it until 2 months later.

FWIW i looked locally for the cost on re-painting the hood and they quoted me ~$300-400.

 

Bro ur lucky that the egg didn't settle on ur car. My ride got egged too in my driveway and it cracked my clearcoat so now I have a big cracked clearcoat stain on my hood. Drives me crazy but it definitely won't buff out, tried that already lol. Anyways sucks that ur car got egged, I know how u feel.
