30k service... idk what to say

highway robbery and salesmanship at its worst. Dealerships make a good portion of their bottom line from the service side and i wouldn't be suprised if that portion equated to more than 50%.
How they can justify $800 at all for a service is beyond my comprehension. They don't do a damn thing at those intervals. Spark plugs, fluid flushes, etc are more of a 60K thing with oil changes, cabin & air filter changes, and tire rotations the only other maintenance items to do before then.
Tires and brakes may need to be replaced but thats outside of a typical service and clutch should last 100K.
Its not even me that got ripped but I'm pissed just reading about it.

the only thing these cars really need are filters and oil.
there are no valves to adjust and no timing belts to change. anything else the dealer sells is bullcrap...especially stuff that isnt even listed in your owners manual

yes indeed nissan dealerships are cheaper then Infinit. Customer service isn't always as great. Infiniti dealerships get paid from their SERVICE.
As for the maintenances....The one and only "regular" maintenance you need before you're past your factory warranty...IS OIL CHANGES!!!!! PERIOD!

this is why when I lease, I will return it with 29,995 miles
and then it will be someone elses problem
hahaha
I wonder if those who buy a used car with $27-28,000 miles, have to come back a month later and shell out another $850 for a 30k service. what a joke.
If you refuse the service, won't it void your warranty?

i bought mine about 3 months ago with 27,xxx on it and i just scheduled my 30,000 mile service for tuesday. so the answer to your question is yes, and it sucks. i will dig a little deeper and request them to get my permission for everything they are doing like the cabin filter change and engine filters. I have a stillen gen 3 sitting in my office, just waiting till this service is done to put them on.

I just had mine but left off the tire rotation (because I am staggered), intake filter (I have R2C), cabin air filter (did it myself), windshield wipers (did myself), radiator cap (I have aftermarket). Then they did the rest. Add my 10% FGC discount. Total out the door with tax and everything right at $450.

well this is good advice to the people who dont know, just ask the service adviser to give u a detailed list of what the service includes....and decline ones you dont need.

If i was u. buy all those 30k maintenance stuffs that u needed from the stealership either online store, then take it to any local shop and paid them for labor either do it urself if u know how to! u will thank urself at the end by doing this just to saved u at least a few hundred bucks compared to stealership what they charged.
Basically is just all that, oil change/oil filter,Coolant flush,Engine Air Filter, cabin airfilter. Break fluid, brake pads. Spark plug no need to change at 30k, ( power steering fluid and Transmission fluid/u can do it at 60k) but not hurt just change them out. maybe a full vehicle inspection for extra peice of mind.
and make sure documented all papers works especially when come to sell ur car.
I can't stress this enough, for some ppl just prefered stealership service.
yep guess what... u learn n moving on.
some one ple correct me if i am wrong.
