If used properly, it will not scratch your clearcoat. I use it on my MW G and used it on my last BO G as well and had no problems.

I also use it as a claybar lube.

 

I have the Opt instant detailer and gloss enhancer and have used it for a year. It works well, doesnt streak, and leaves the car looking nice. I use it only when the car has just minor dust on it and needs to be clean.

I have Opt no rinse also and it works well, although the old school guy in me still likes the traditional wash with hose. I use my Megs Gold Class shampoo in the spring, summer, and fall, and Ill use the ONR in the winter time when I have the hose turned off.

I also just picked up some of the OptiClean spray, although I havent used it yet. Im hoping I can use it for light to mildly dirty cars and it will shine and look as nice as the instant detailer so it can replace the instant detailer.

I need to pick up another spray bottle and do a side by side comparison of the instant detailer and gloss enhancer vs the opti clean.

 

Keep us posted on the OptiClean. I've heard great things...and not sure why it wouldn't be since I'm so happy with their other products...but for some reason I'm not ready for that one yet...

 

i think the poor boys spray n wipe is similar to Opticlean. you can tell that all the dirt that you spray this stuff on gets wiped off without scratching. it is great and i have confidence in its ability to encapsulate the dirt particles in a protective bead. i have not washed the whole car with it though since i would use half the bottle and thats why i will be ordering the optimum no rinse very soon . i have used the spraynwipe when the car has a medium amount of dust/dirt in specific areas. not when there has been a major amount of dirt.

 

Yeah I'm actually not a huge fan of S&W...and I think PB makes great products. I only used it a few times on my IP car, and just didn't feel like it was protecting my paint very well. I'm definitely in the minority on this one, I know it is a hugely popular product. But this is where my hesitation about OptiClean comes from I'm sure...

 

i got my OPT no rinse and gloss enhancer in the mail today. i washed both of our cars in the garage tonight and both products work fantastic. Our G was pretty dirty since it snowed last week and it had some salt caked on the sides near the wheels. i tend not to wash the cars when its below 25 degrees unless i have stuff like this! all the salt and dirt came off with one pass of the wash mit. after i dried it i gave it a few spritz of the gloss enhancer it looks beautiful. the flourescent lighting in the garage will always show swirls in certain of the car and i saw none that werent there before. it took me a little over 30 minutes to wash dry and gloss enhance both cars. Everybody should give both of these products a try!

 

So i cannot find this product anywhere in my city. I live in Lima, Oh which is a fairly small city. I couldnt find it in Auto Zone, Ziebart, Walmart, or couple other smaller auto shops. Is this only available online to purchase? No on has ever heard of a "no-rinse" solution either in all these shops that i went to. they all looked at me like i didn't know what i'm talking about. Did anyone buy this in a store?

I been using this stuff for about 1 year and wow I continue to use cause it really works that great. My car is OB and 3 years old and looks showroom condition, highly recommend ! I need need more though lol I'm running low.

 

Definitely man. I love it. I use it for alot of stuff including just a quick detail spray and to clean door jambs, etc. It's really a multi-use products.

Very well. I will buy it online from the link. So i basically want to use this product to keep the G looking polished every 2 weeks. I live in ohio so the car has road salt and such on it. Do you guys do anything to remove the salt first or do you start right away with the onr solution and a MF towel?

 

If used as directed as seen in the video, you can use it right away. If there is sand/grit on the paint, I'd spray before if at all possible.

 

This stuff is great! I used it for the first time yesterday. I was committed as it started to snow. I got all of the road dirt & salt of with no problem. I just dumped a couple of buckets of warm water on the G before going to work. Very happy with it. Nice Winter product.

 

should i go ahead and use this to clean the chrome rims or use some specialty product to clean the rims?
