Polishing and clear bra

Polishing and clear bra
I am having someone install a clear bra on my G on the whole hood/front sides/mirrors/back bumper this week. He said that I should polish the car before he comes over because once the bra is installed I can't use a PC over the bra? What happens once I have the bra on, I can't polish the car at all? Will it create a difference in color or look on the parts where I am able to polish?

If you have swirls on the areas where the CB will be applied then, yes. If not, a clay bar is all you need to do.
It's typically not recommended that you "polish" a clear bra with random orbital or similar polish with abrasive compound. Most clea bra film manufactures sell their version of a sealant that they recommend using. I'd use it. I use the xPel sealant and love it. It keeps the clear bra from "yellowing" and keeps the surface smooth.
