Just got an 08 Obsidian Black g37- I've heard stories of Zaino and whatnot- but I'm not that big of an enthusiast. I usually use Meguiar's (everything) and need to know some procedures on washing and waxing. Can somebody give me some good details on how to wax your car by hand? And what to buy and what to use? How many layers of wax and whatever you have to use too? thanks

I was in your same situation , I also have OB 08 and always used meguirs quick detailer and wax , but once I contacted George@detailed image he walked me through the process of detailing and me being a noob on detailing, I ended up with amazing products and did these steps wash/dry >clay>polish>sealant>wax and now I maintain with careful washes using two bucket method and the new Optimum NO rinse product that is OMG amazing and now I detail in my garage in my condo that was difficult to wash b4 until now. Also using waffle weave drying towels and sheep skin wash mit and never again will I make the mistake in leering carwashes touch my car or run it through those drive thru wash machines. I've corrected my paint , looks Freaking amazing and no more swirls or ugly scratches just a deep blk glossy looking G37S . The Sealant added the most depth I'm my finish it's perfect. After all
My careful washes now I just use a Quick detailer and done. Detailed image is Awesome !!!
