Non glossy brand?

Hey Everyone,
I need a bit of advice as to what product to use for my G. One thing I hate more than anything is the glossy black, wet finish that products such as Armor All, Meguiars, etc leaves on our leather seats when cleaning them. Thus far, I have only been cleaning the leather and door panels with luke warm water so that I dont get that ugly glossy finish. What over the counter or on-line product do you suggest so that I can get a original/satin look of leather when I clean my seats and door panels?

Warm water is horrible to be using...and anything over the counter is worse. You can't buy anything quality over the counter at the corner auto store.

Detailed Image - Premium Auto Detailing Supplies has the best products you will find anywhere.

Here are the two that I use for my leather and they work amazingly

Lexol Leather Conditioner - 16.9 oz | Detailed Image

Lexol pH Leather Cleaner - 16.9 oz | Detailed Image

And this stuff is great for the vinyl

303 Fabric-Vinyl Cleaner - 32 oz | Detailed Image

I use Lexol, Poorboys leather stuff, and Adam's leather conditioner. All work really well and they leave a matte finish.

Lexol all the way, it leaves the leather looking factory new - no shine. You can actually pick Lexol up at certain Advanced Auto stores.

Another thing you can use is woolite mixed with water for cleaning. For protecting, i use Lexol, but there are better things out there, i just haven't run out of Lexol yet!

I've been using 303 for years...and will always recommend it. If really dirty I'll use a 10:1 woolite mixture to wipe clean and dry, then follow up with 303 for look and protection.

HOWEVER...I just tried the 1z. This line seems to be getting a lot of hype, so I figured I would try something cheap and easy. I went with teh Cockpit Premium.

First thing I did was open it and smell. BOOM. Alchohol. Checking the ingredients there is definitley alcohol in it. I checked with George, and he supports it so I used it against my better judgement that alcohol and trim don't match. Applying it was easy as any other brand. The alcohol scent definitely protruded, and freaked me out a bit. Did provide a nice matt look though, so I liked that. Next morning I got in the car, and the alcohol scent was gone leaving just a very very faint citrus/chemical smell.

Long story short...I'm still up in the air on the alcohol, but the rest of it is pretty solid. Might start interchanging it with 303 from time to time. I really just worry that the alcohol will dry it out.
