Looking for replacements to Optimum Detailer and Spray Wax

When I got my G I started with the Optimum No Rinse wash. I like the way the product works and does a great job for me. At the time I went ahead and purchased the Optimum Instant Detailer and the Spray Wax. Both products work okay, but I would like to switch to something that worked great.

Any suggestions. Thanks, Charlie.

Adam's Detail Spray.

I've used LOTS of different detail sprays (2 different Chemical Guys/2 different Poorboy's/Migliore/Miguire's/etc) and Adams is my favorite. Not saying the other ones suck at all because they were all good/decent.

Adams just smells great/easy to work with/no streaking/nice shine.

Works GREAT as a clay lube too.

I like the spray wax, do you wipe down the car with a towel after you're done spraying and wiping off the wax. I noticed that just spraying and wiping off the wax isn't enough to make it look clean and shiny. I use zaino detail spray. I also do a final wipe down after i've used the detail spray to wipe off any streaks.

I just bought the Optimum no rinse and the QD, I have not used either one because I have not recieved but I'm switching up from Meguires QD and Spray wax . I hope it works good . I been using meguires and wow I think they both are great but I have nothing to compare it to since I have only used meguires.

I love the optimum no rinse. That has worked great. The Optimum QD that I use just during the drying process just does not do it for me. At first I really liked it. After using it for a bit, it seems to streak way too much. You have to be very careful to get just the right amount on.

I will try the Adams and the Meguires next. I will start with the Adams since it sounds like it has the qualities that I am looking for.

Ok I just picked up some Adams detailed spray hopefully this will be a great substitute for optimum QD and Muguires Ultimate QD!! Also what about a Quick wax spray? Or do you guys just use Adams QD ? I'm interested i'n Gamedogs response to thos or anyone else w a BLK G!!! Lmk guys , I have been using Optimium QD for a couple weeks now and I honestly think meguires Ultimate QD worked better inalso used meguires ultimate quick wax that I really think wrks amazing! Should I use this or am I ok w just Adams detail spray?

Ive used the Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield and the Optimum QD. I use the optimum as a clay lube and for the weekend wipedown when its just a little dirty and doesnt need a full wash and after road trips to get all the bugs off the front of the hood. It gets the job done.

I bought the concentrated one, which you can dilute 3:1 with water.

Im curious to hear your thoughts BlkHR37s on the comparison between the Optimum and Megs QD.

Me personally and maby it's because i have a blk G if that matters, I like thr meguires QD better than OPT . Opt just don't leave the high gloss finish that meguires left, meguires seemed to add more depth to paint as well . I won't be using opt anymore I'm almost done w it and already purchased Adams QD spray , I just read too many good reviews on it . Should arrive any day now can't wait to test it . Opt seems to leave a white residu after wiping off I look at it from angles and even though it looks shiny I still see those streaks/residu/ whatever you call it and drives me nuts. Meguires would spray and wipe and that's it I feel I wrk harder w opt . I remember after wrk I had my car freshly detailed and I stopped to put gas and water fell on my fender so I used opt to wipe off really quick and just left it ugly I looked at it i'n the light and let's just say it made me just want to rewash my whole car lol . Maby I'm just too damn picky lol.

Interesting. I havent had any residue or streaking problems with the OPT QD. My only slight negative was it did leave a nice looking gloss afterwards, but it wasnt AS deep and didnt last AS long as I would like it to.

Were you using the one you could dilute or the one in the spray bottle?

What Megs QD were you using? I know they sell one at Target...... and probably autozone.

It leaves and ok finish not really a high gloss though , anyway the Bottle is a Ultimat Q detailer, blk bottle 16 0z I believe and on front it says w new polymers or something like that lol anyway for quick detailer I may go back but I'm gonna try Adams first. I also am curious as to using meguires Ulyimate Quick wax again! I use to use it all the time after washing and drying process and wow this stuff is amazing , I should actually use thos after drying my car since it wrked best and the deep shiny wax look I loved . I use so many bottles of this, so I'm assuming QD goodfor touch ups but after drying I think A Quick wax is the answer even thought is just a spray wax. What is mezerna? Is ita wax or just QD spray ?
