Fixing scratches on right tail light
Some genius decided it would be cool to put a few scratches on my 09's right tail light. They are visible but they aren't very deep (I can't actually feel the groove of the scratches with my finger.)
Would this be where something like PlastX from Meguiar's would be the best way to try to get them out? Anyone have any other suggestions? I do have a Porter Cable if I have to go a bit farther to clear them up.
TIA.

a few weeks ago someone decided to put empty cardboxes in the pickup's bed and drive on the highway.. when I was behind him and the box flew out and hit my headlight and hood.. Luckily I have clear bra so the hood is fine, but my front head light are all scratched up.
I used portal cable and Meguiar 105 and got most of the scratches out, but I can't buff those few deep scratches out with this combo. I think I might have to wet sand it, but I am not sure I know how to proper wet sand.
anyway, you might try the portal cable and Meguiar 105 combo if you have it. Good luck

Yikes good thing you had CB on. I was thinking about trying PC and 105 but wasn't sure that would be the best way to go on the light. I also have 205 but then I'd be concerned if that wasn't enough to do the job.
I'm just not sure which way to lean. I'll have to think about it more I guess.
