Towels like that actually suck for drying the car and are not all that great at product removal either.

Well, that would depend on how diculous is was in the first place. It may be very diculous again.

Ha Ha why is everyone giving me advice on towels now. I was just showing how ridiculous that one towel was. I already have about four waffle weave towels, and a bunch of cobra towels.

I'm kind of a detaiilng noob so forgive me, but are "towels" like The Absorber bad for drying your car? I find they work really well, but if I'm not supposed to use them I'd like to know.

if by the Absorber you mean that blue chamois you buy at Autozone then YES. there is no way for the Absorber to pull the dirt/particules away from the paint, so what you end up doing is just dragging all the crap across your paint over and over again causing very bad marring.

It is MUCH better for your car to use MF waffle towels. Yes, the Absorber soaks up rediculous amounts of water, but if you sheet the water then it only takes 1 waflle towel to dry the entire car

What about those squeegees? I use it some times on the windows, but on the paint I think I'm probably dragging impurities behind it.

btw what are those MF waffle weaves from Detailed image made from? The waffle weave I got from advanced auto was like 8 bucks, but it's made from 80% polyester, 20% nylon. Not sure if that's a decent product.

I've never used them on the windows (or at all) I use my NSFP MF towels for the glass, but I'm sure squeegees would be ok. But yeah, definitely don't use them on the paint.
