Winter mats; Weather Tech or Infiniti

Hi Folks:

I just did a deal (picking up on Saturday)on my new G37X Sport sedan. I'm coming out of a BMW 328i and enjoyed it, but was very impressed with the Infiniti and enjoy a change in pace in cars.

My question is: living near Toronto, we have nasty winters with lots of sand/salt tracking into the car's carpets. I'm debating between the "Weather tech" custom fit mats (with deep side sills) OR the Infiniti winter mats.

The Infiniti ones are cheaper ($130 Cdn vs. $230 for the Weather techs) but I'm not sure if the Infiniti mats will provide the same level of protection (looks like water more likely to roll onto carpet vs. Weather tech). I've got to make up my mind before the weekend and so would apreciate input from those that have both options.

Thanks !

Being from the GTA I was also thinking of the Weather techs but I was suprised by the quality of the Infinity mats. Very good rubber and easy to clean. Much better than the oem rubber mats on the E46 M.

My coworker still has his M and he bought the Weather techs and the mats are hard and slippery when they get wet.

IMHO get the Infinity ones.

Montreal here. Just picked up my 09 37S 6MT ! First thing I did was check out the OEM rubber mats at the parts dpt. and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by their quality. Much better than the OEMs in my civic and seem more functional than the ones I see in Escalades and S classes. Infiniti gets my vote, specially with that much difference in the price.

I love my All-Weather Infiniti mats. They do the job for me and don't look aftermarket. I have weather-tech in my jeep and wish it were the quality of the OEM Infiniti All-Weather.
