Howdy folks!

I've had the 3M clear bra on my Torch Red mustang for close to 3 years now, and haven't had a problem with it at all. Now the mustang is not my everyday run-around car though, so it hasn't seen all the elements it could. I would have to say if you go the clear bra route, do it on a light/white colored car as I can see it being noticeable on darker cars after a while. A few suggestions for keeping it in pristine condition is to never use a brush (even soft) to clean that part of the car...go with a soft sponge that doesn't have the chance at leaving permanent scratches. Never take it through a high pressure car wash (even though they say it can handle it). It could cause it to start peeling around the edges. I've already placed my order in for a moonlight white G37x AWD for delivery in May when I get back from the desert, and one of the first things I'm doing is a clear bra. So obviously you guys know where I stand on whether to get one or not.

I considered a clear bra before I got my G, but I decided against it, didn't seem worth the money. I've now had my black G for 2 years and only have a few tiny rock chips that are barely noticable. Save ur money IMO!!

Interesting. I have seen a black G37 with less than a 1,000 miles on it and it was covered with chips. Well about 25-30 chips in the bumper. I think its pretty well known how soft the Infiniti paint is these days... so for someone who doesnt want any chips I WOULD recommend getting it done. But hey, I notice even the smallest chips/scratches in my vehicle.
