Burned Exhaust Tips

Does anyone know how to polish out the blue from exhaust tips?

hmm kinda confused on your question... isn't that what people buy for the look? the burnt blue tips? i guess you're trying to get rid of that look? what exhaust do you have?

I dont think you can remove it but maybe if you sanded it down that might work.

I'm thinking of getting the Greddy SE. I called Greddy and they said you can polish them out. I wonder what kind of polish and polishers or pad needs to be used?

Step 1: Grab the Sawzall

Step 2: Put Sawzall next to exhaust tip

Step 3: Turn on Sawzall, cut off exhaust tip (Do the same on other side)

Step 4: Go to Pep Boys lol

Step 5: Buy 2 Light Up Exhaust Tips

Step 6: Go Home

Step 7: Get the Welder

Step 8: Weld those sumbitches on

Step 9: Put the welder away

Step 10: Enjoy ur new sexyass tips

Maybe get some of those light up valve stem caps, light up washer sprayers, and underglow... then please total it immediately so nobody sees a g37 with any of that stuff on it

Yes, I've also heard metal polish will remove it.

Some exhausts aren't offered with regular non-Ti tips (i.e. Invidia), which I would assume is what the OP wanted in the first place.

We had a wheel shop polish the burnt tips for a customer that didn't want the brunt look. Its possible to polish, just not as easy to do when the tips don't come off
