A leaf blower will definitely help get the water out of all the hiding places (like the outside mirrors). Then squeegee the glass.
After that, I use either some Turtle Wax and Dry or Eagle One Wet Wax and Dry with an artificial chamois (which is stored in a bucket of water to keep it soft). Leaves a nice shine.

I use a blower and it is a lot quicker and requires less friction from drying towels which is great on our soft paint. I barely have to wipe at all. It is also quicker which minimizes water spotting. It allows me to get the water that a drying towels simply cannot get to: in the mirrors, nooks and crannies of wheels, the cracks around the grille, and the line of where the trunk meets the fenders/bumper.
