Need help clean up Volk SF Challenge

I just bought a set of 19" Mercury Silver Volk Racing SF Challenge last night. They were used, After I gave it a wash with Gold Class Shampoo and a Swissax brush there were light scratches on the lip and gunk build up in between the screws. I was wondering are there any safe polish so maybe I can restore the lip to a shiny finish and a safe degreaser that would help me clean up the grease built up in the cracks.

thanks

Volk's finishes are pretty delicate. I wouldn't use any chemicals or solvents other than just soap and water.

If you want to polish the lips, find a very mild, light abbrasive hand polish and take the time to work it in.

a Q-tip with soap and water would probably be alright for cleaning around the bolt heads.

I have Mother's Chrome Polish and Eagle One Mag/Aluminum Polish, which one you think will work best?

It is strong! I wasted my first bottle, then the second one I followed the directions and diluted 3:1 with water. Still works great and goes 4 times as far.
