I love dealership carwashes and body shop hacks
I guess I love how busy they keep me.
Client tells dealership as always, "Don't wash it!" They do.
Dealership wants to use their local bodyshop to correct it.
Client agrees but only if they will pay his detailer (me) to fix it if they can't.
Needless to say the car is at my house.
I hope to have it done sometime Wednesday.

Signs in English don't always work either. Took my GTI in and asked them not to wash. Service writer put a sign on the car while I was standing there. They washed it anyway. Next time I asked and complained. The service manager overheard me and told the service writer to put the message in Spanish or it was a waste of time. That worked.

Just go in next time and tell them don't let water touch the car or the nitrous oxide tank will blow up. I'm considering trying this for my next oil change...

They listen to me. I make sure they hear me. I tell the guy who is taking my car in "Under no circumstance should this car be washed"
