Tire dressing sling question
Hey,
Usually after I wash / was the blackbird I throw some gliptone tire dressing on because I like the wet look....not too much and I usually let it set for 30 min or so before spinning the 19''s. However - I still get some sling around the wheel well and on the side skirts. I've read some stuff about it forming a compound that can stain your paint, but is this a definite? does it dependin on the brand of tire dressing, or how long its on there?
I plan on washing it in a few days just to get it off....but just wanted to know if anybody else has this problem, and if it really has done damage?
I"m assuming a few days isn't going to hurt it..

There are some good recommendations already posted.
Generally, the tire glazes that sling are those that give the super wet look. Mainly because of their consistency, the solution just sits on top of the tire which provides the shine.
Any water based shine won't sling as much, but I wouldn't be too confident that it won't harm your paint.
