Mercedes SLK55 AMG

So the past few years I've been washing cars and stuff on the side to earn some extra cash. The past several months I have learned alot about car care from this site and invested in a Porter Cable 7424 from Detailed Image along with some other stuff. Today I had my first client of the season. It was a family friends Mercedes SLK55 AMG. We just got over several days of snow and ice and this thing was in desperate need of some special care. I've learned alot from here and hope to learn more as I go. Here are the steps I took

Washed the car w/ Meguires gold class car wash and microfiber mitt
Dried w/ microfiber waffle weave
Then I did the interior which was still in farely decent shape.
Cleaned and conditioned seats with Zymol cleaner and Zymol conditioner
Dash and everything else with Meguires Quick interior detailer
Invisible Glass spray on all the windows and mirrors

Next I moved to where the real work was, the paint.
This thing has probably only been waxed once or twice and never polished.

Started off with clay bar and Meguires Quick detailer for lube. Then I put the PorterCable to work.
Used the PoorBoys polish with sealent on a white pad. This did a pretty good job and removing swirls and light sratches, but still didnt get everything. What would be better for getting the heavier sratches out? I have been looking at the PoorBoys SSR2 and SSR2.5 to use before the polish w/ sealant
Followed up the polish with a coat of Mothers pure caranuba wax. I no most people on here think there is better stuff out there, but I just cant justify spending upwards of $80+ on wax, especially when it isnt even my car. Are there any other good waxes out there that i dont have to break the bank on?
Then after the wax I misted and wiped down with distilled water. Forgot where I heard this, but supposedly it helps bring the shine out of the wax.

To finish I did the basics of windows and tire shine. Overall spent about 5hrs on the inside and out.

Time for the PICS! Let me know what everyone thinks and give some advice if you have any.

In 5 hours you turned that AMG into a showstopper!! WoW!

I'm a big fan of the AMG line of MB products and this little guy is a beast. Nice job.

Looks nice! Just FYI you can pick up Migliore for $29.99. Our entry level wax has approximately 33% carnauba per jar, which is similar to those costing much more.

Take a look:

Looks good man... SSR2 and a green pad would easily get those deeper swirls/scratches out... It works for me

Oh +1 on Migliore Original!! It's a great wax that will last FOREVER... Gives a deep shine and is easy on, easy off Oh and it smells great!
