Here's a few shots of my girl after a full detail and 2 coats of Migliore Original

Not very good lighting conditions or photography as the sun was setting, but It looked deeper and wetter in person if you can believe it.

So does the wax offer additional protection for the paint or is it more just purely for the deep shine? How often do you have to reapply it?

Temp protection only. Mostly for added depth and shine.

I guess I'd still have the Zaino under it for the protection. How often do you/should you reapply the wax?

Have any of you had experience seeing how the Zaino will respond when placed over a layer of high quality wax?
I also do not think that the Zaino will stick to the wax.

Yeah... Not a good idea to put zaino over a natural carnuba wax. It won't harm anything, but won't do any good.

You are supposed to remove the wax first.

I just purchased the new Porter Cable 7424 setup with backing plate, and different pads, etc. I have not tried it yet. If I put the layer of carnuba wax over the Zaino, then in the near future go to remove the wax prior to another round of Zaino sealant---about how long does it take to remove the wax with the clay bar, and Porter Cable and appropriate polishes. Just curious how much time the wax removal adds to the routine the day of the detail, on average, for those of you who have done this.

You will remove all your wax/sealant in a single wash with Dawn and a complete clay bar treatment. Wash after claying again with Dawn. You have now stripped off all wax and sealant and are ready to polish/seal/wax anew.

first off never use dawn, zaino is an idiot for recommending that. It dries out the trim, and stains the clear over time.

Second off, all waxes look the same in pictures
