Is it true? No claybarring the new self healing paint?
I forget where I read on here that you can't claybar the new paint. Why? The car feels drastically different after being claybarred. Also, what polish can and can't you use? Is stuff like Zaino safe?

believe it was mike@riverside or 1 of the other infiniti guys mentioned that using a polisher/orbital on the paint will get rid of it. from what ive been told, its just a thicker, softer clear coat that heals with the heat of the sun. seems kind of lame if you all you can really do it hand wax it.

Well if the paint is supposed to hear itself you wouldn't need to "polish" it, so all you'd need to do is wax it occassionally by hand which is typical.

You can't clay bar!? The paint's gonna have all kinds of stuff on it after a few months.......

I'd ask my dealer about this, but something tells my my sales guy would have no clue. I could be wrong though... Maybe he'd have a clue.
It would be great if we could find it documented somewhere. Is it in the manual?
