Blotching in paint

My 08 BS G37 has blotches in the paint all over the trunck lid, hood and top. I will to post pics tomorrow. They are not on the surface. They will not wax or compound out. Kinda looks like white powder bleaching in from under the paint. It is under the clear coat. Went to Atlantic Infiniti today and am taking it in to show a factory rep on Thurs. Hope I get a new paint job. Any other ever see this?

K, this is weird. Took it to the dealer, the service manager saw the blotches in the paint and so did my salesman. They set up an appointment with a factory rep tomorrow, but now the spots have disappeared. Hopefully they will reappear before I take it in tomorrow. Am trying to get pictures, but for now theve gone. WEIRD

Maybe the spots didn't disappear, just different lighting conditions.

Look again for the spots under a florescent or halogen light source.

OK, went to Atlantic Infiniti today and met with the factory rep. Wether I believe it or not here's what I was told. The spots are water spots. The paint is water based and is pourous. Under certain conditions you can get "water spots" under the paint. They said they see this a lot in cars that are shipped with that white plastic crap covering them. When they peel it off they find these spots and get rid of them using a heat gun. But they have never seen it on a sold unit before. Next time I immediatly take many pictures. Car looks beautiful again.

Water based paint... really? That sounds strange, but at least the spots are gone!
