Washing with Poor boys
Hey,
Do you guys usually soap/scrub an area then rinse it off? Or do you soap the whole car, then rinse off at the end and dry?
Also it sucks when it rains the next day.. on a BO coloured car

I usually rinse off the car after each section to make sure that it never dries off until I do so at the end with a towel.

I wash/rinse each panel at a time. If you're washing in the sun this is your only choice, especially on black. Also, you shouldn't be scrubbing your paint , that will just induce marring.

I don't know about yall but I use mr clean auto wash and I split the car into sections, I rinse the entire car, soap and wash the back and rear quarter panel and rinse, then the door and roof, front quarter panel, the hood and the front. I use the auto dry so I dont get swirl marks on my paint from the towles. It also does a great job of keeping water spots off the paint after the rain which is crucial w/black paint.

The whole notion of "suds=wash" is sort of an illusion based on the fact that it's usually the case. But suds in reality have nothing to do with the actual washing process, it's completely feasible to think of a soap that manages to clean just as effectively but it just doesn't make bubbles.
