Does anyone use the detail spray+waffle weave drying towel method to dry their car? Sprays like CG Synthetic Spray/Adam's Detail Spray seem to work best for me.

Just wondering if anyone else sprays a panel, then wipes it dry, while the car has some water on it. Also removes spotting too

Particularly if it's really sunny I'll use a little PBW Spray N Gloss to keep it from drying with water spots if I don't dry it quick enough.

once youre done rinsing, do you take the nozzle off the hose, and just run a stream down the car? Unpressurized water reduces spotting too

Yes, I know how to "dry" the car with the hose, but it still dries the remaining water very quickly in Texas heat. The detailer removes the spots as I towel dry.

oh ya, I could imagine, its like that up here at times too, the detail spray drying method rocks, gets so many steps done at once.

I use Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer... works like a charm. it leaves my car shining and streak free. 1 panel at a time is the best method.

Washed today with help, but could not get it dried without spots. Used Mequiar's QD panel at a time and came out perfect.

BB is right... This is a good use of a QD.

Just don't apply a QD in the heat. It can a **** to get off if applied in the heat.

LOL, sorry, i think was paying attention to two things at once. Meant to say its best to dry out of the sun, like in a garage.

I'm pretty sure I was just backing up what you said though lol. Tough morning.
