wash your car, dry it, park it under the sun and look at all the swirls you just put into it...

congrats on the purchase.

Yeah, our cars are swirl monsters!

Hope you didn't get Black obsidian, Vibrant red, or Blue Slate.

I just bought one this morning too. White though. I'm assuming infiniti is not taking any responsibility for "defective" paint?

I don't believe so, but maybe you can ask your dealer anyway. Maybe you'll get lucky!

I think they are just saying some colours so scratches and swirles.

White was my favorite colour, thats why I chose it. Just a plus that it doesn't show scratches as much I suppose.

I don't have the car yet so I have no experience, I'm just reading about the "problems" all over the place. I'll see for myself I suppose when I get the car.

Find a way to protect ur front bumper from rock chip and scratches. Some use the clear bra.. I on the other hand, have a lot of rock chips on my front bumper. Car barely has 4k.

I also have the white but I can see the swirls in my paint. I just had body work done and they used a different clear coat and it is hard as nails. They had to repaint my hood for color blending and the new clear coat ROCKS! Wish I could get the whole car done.

I have BO with clear bra, low miles, garaged and minimal wash days. I use the right soap, mitt, cleaners, etc and just did the DODO JUICE(amazing stuff).
I have very very minute swirl/haze after a year of ownership. The secret is to protect it from the start. This is not new news, just important news. I'll post some pictures of my DODO JUICE PURPLE HAZE job when I get a chance. The clear bra is a must on BO.

From the dealer my car looked like it had been in a tornado. I bought a detail kit from Detaled Images, clayed, polished, glazed and applied selant...and wala.. totally scratchles. I've washed the car at least 40 times, careful to use clean mitts and clean Microfiber towels. I've added a few light scratches but nothing close to swirls or bad enough to pull out the polisher again for. Point is you can take precautions to limit scratching. In spring I'm sure it will be time to get the polisher out again.
