You are 100% correct...I realize I explained it backwards since I was describing the effect of side windows Either way, I think the one thing we all have in common is the recommendation of not having anything installed on top of it!

clear bra on the sport model bumper...

Hi,

For those of you who have installed the clear bra on the Sport model, I am wondering how close the bra cover at the 2 small openings (the 2 fake air inlet) in the Sport bumper? Does it cover all the way to the black plastic pieces? If you have a picture to show it will be great.

Thanks.

I have had 3M on my G35 6spd and on my G37S. It has been a great paint saver!. Try to see and example of the shops work before you have them do the application. Some don't have alot of experience and make a mess of it.

Hey man. Due to the molding and shape of the dimples, it is nearly impossible for shops to have a perfect cutout for these holes. Mine does not cover all the way to the black inserts, but about half way into the dimple. The guy that installed mine is a great installer and did a great job...looks clean.

Sounds about right. Mine is also about an inch off, and where the dimples are closer to the center of the bumper the film has some almost V-shaped cuts to make it fit properly. It's just a complex bumper.

I think mine only wraps into those holes a little bit as it is mainly designed to stop rocks flying right at the leading edge. I will look at it tonight. Also, you said these air inlets were fake? No way!

Yes, those 2 small air inlets on the sport bumper are fake. They are made of solid pieces of plastic, no air can pass through.

Sorry...I did not know that

So did you have a chance to see how close is your film away from those inlets?

Thanks.

Yessir. The film is about an inch and a quarter from the back of the fake inlet

Every kit maker is going to have a different pattern... so some might be further away than others.

Hi,

I'm looking at the clearmask AR option, can someone inform me which parts I need to cover that's necessary? Lower/Upper Bumper? Hood Fender Mirrors?

Which kit do I absolutely need?

Also.. Which parts do you recommend to be covered with the clear bra?

p.s I'm from Canada do you guys ship there? And how much is labour cost generally?

Thanks
