You are right. The Titanium Silver is very sparkling flakes and bright. The Silver Metallic is flatter and darker and better match.

I will try a DIY repair soon.

Do you plan to do the entire wheel or touch up areas? I have 4 blemishes on one of the spokes and wonder if spraying just that spoke will work or not match and look worse.

Any updates on the best matching color? I'm going to try and see how the silver metallic looks on top of a black primer.

Well the silver metallic is better than the titanium metallic, but still isn't a very good match. I tried it with a dark grey primer. No luck.

I'm at a loss to understand why we can't just buy the matching paint from somewhere for a premium price. Seems like it would be good business.

Any other ideas guys?

Maybe I'll get my wheel repainted by a mobile wheel repair shop and see what he uses.
