what do you guys think of 'Nu Finish' car polish? It claims you can remove scratches by hand, is this bull****?

It's probably not bad stuff, but there are better products on the market. Check out the products on detailedimage.com

The short answer is yes. It does not work as they claim it does. You are not going to satisfactorily remove any scratches or swirls well by hand polishing.

I use Griot's Garage polish. It comes in three different levels for scratches.
It works by hand but much better with their Orbital Polisher which I use.
When I first got my G37S in Obsidian Black it had some fine scratches on the hood from the dealer detailing it. The Orbital Polisher and the fine polish removed it all very easily.
For deeper scratches they have a level 2 and for the worst a level 3

I used it today, applied it by hand. Didnt work nearly as close as what it claimed but that goes without saying.
