Glaze vs. Wax

Glaze vs. Wax
I understand the order; Glaze then Wax but what I do not understand is which one conceal scratches and swirls? I hear glaze removes imperfections or some **** while wax fills in swirls and protects.
any recommended glazes?
I know I have been asking a lot of questions about detailing but ive really gotten into it and im pretty upset that up to this point ive been adding swirls while ive been washing.

Wax offers protection while filling swirls to some extent.

Like Don already clarified, what you've heard is completely incorrect. A glaze offers ZERO protection and removes ZERO paint imperfections. A glaze's job is to try and FILL in paint imperfections but not remove them. Waxes do NOT fill in any paint imperfections (since that is what a Glaze is for) and simply gives you protection for your paint for 4-6 weeks on average.
Your first goal should be to educate yourself how to properly wash your car, as this is the number one cause for introducing swirls and light scratches to your paint surface. There is tons of good information in this section, including the stickies at the top of this section, so I would strongly encourage you to do some reading.
