It all depends on what you will be using it for.

Basic details- wax, sealant..get the basic

Full blown detailing- wax, sealant, med polish, heavy polish, finishing polish...get the advance.

judging from your questions..

I think a starter kit will do just fine

I got this kit. It has worked out great for me because it has everything you'll end up needing to get started and it costs less than it would if you purchased them separately. george even threw in a couple of extra pad cleaners.

Don't forget to use the forum coupon code at checkout.

+1... Get the start kit. If you end up needing the other pads, you can purchase separately, but what the starter kit has is more than enough for the G.

10offg37 is indeed the coupon code that George has made available to forum members. It will discount 10% off of all regular pricing except for the daily special or other specially priced items.

I wouldn't use Scratch-X on a PC, I use it only in small spots by hand. If you have a lot of scratches and swirls to fix, use Menzerna Super Intensive Polish or if they are really deep, Power Gloss. I'll be posting up a few pics later of my BO that was in pretty bad shape that I had good results with using the SIP followed by PO106FF.
