Xziloned my G37S

I know some people out there feel its a gimmick or a rip off but it really helps a lot. When I got my G it was not offered at my dealership....but when my husband got his TL we got the Xzilon treatment at Gillman Acura and I really like it. So I went there today to get it done on my G. It looks amazing right now... like there are layers of wax and polish on it. They do the interior too!

After all the hassle about my car not having a clear coat but later telling that it does but the paint and CC is very thin... to all the bird crap leaving visible marks on my hood... I went ahead and Xziloned my car. I have been washing the TL for 2 years now and things just come right off and the car has not been waxed once but is still shiny like new.
I have been told that red paint oxidizes quicker ... so hopefully this will help keep it looking good.

Don't have before and after pics but I just took this one outside...the weather in Houston is kind of crappy though. When I picked up the car I can immediately see the difference. Not just shiny and smooth but also the color looks nicer. The interior is better too. So I am a Happy Gal today!

Looks great, but don't let this be a regular wax replacement... You still need to polish and wax regularly to maintain the shine and protection.

Really? They actually say no need to wax. And they said to be careful if I were to use polish because some polishes actually ruin the molecular adhesive. I got to find out more about this.

...haha...I wish. It protects against bird dropping, sap, industrial fallout, love bugs... that kinda stuff. And if you see that your paint is damaged by any of these things they repaint your car and reapply the xzilon ....they did that for my TL... they took the whole top off and repainted and stuff.

i'd use something like danase wet glaze. it's what i'm going to be using

contains no cleaners, so it can be layered over just about anything

Interior and exterior plus 3 year warranty for $695. I was not aware of the kit. But they had to clean the car and detail it before they applied the xzilon. I think the regular price is $795 but that Acura service consultant knows me so I got a discount. It was much cheaper for my husband because it was an option we added on when purchasing the TL.

The warranty is for 3 years for pre-owned cars. Although I bought my car new, I did not apply it on until now so they consider my car as pre-owned. For new cars the warranty is for 5 years. And within the 3 years they detail and reapply it for you twice I think.

That is so cool! We got it done on the same day. Can't wait to see your car when it is done.

Isn't this just a long-life sealant like Zaino? $695 would buy a LOT of zaino applications, so I guess this is all about saving you time (2-3 hrs every 4-6 months).

I would most certainly have them re-apply as often as your contract allows!
