nice write up! seems like you've seen the limitations of a PC on the first try. It's hard to fix it all, so you need MOAR POWER! flex or rotary is the upgrade we'll see you getting to eventually

Good for you, and welcome to the world of detailing!! 
It looks like you did a great job for your first time, kudos bro. Just like everything else, you will get better the more you do it. I noticed you mentioned that you fuond the 0106FF left a LOT of dust. The 0106FF is my main go to polish for most customers and I have found that it doesn't dust at all. If you want to use a polish that dusts, try using Menzerna's Power Gloss. 
One thing I would recommend, especially if you plan on detailing customer vehicles on the weekend, is to pick up a halogen light like the one below. They are inexpensive and will really help identify where the paint imperfections are on your paint.
