Blackfire: Midnight Sun Carnauba Paste Wax
1. wash/dry
2. clay
3. poorboy SSR 2.5 in certain areas buffed by PC with orange LC pad
4. Blackfire: Gloss Enhancing Polish buffed by PC with white LC pad
5. Blackfire: Midnight Sun Carnauba Paste Wax by hand
i skipped the sealant this time cus i wanted to really see how the blackfire wax looked...i think sealant on a black car doesn't look as glossy
i wish it was sunnier outside, its kinda cloudy right now (hope it doesnt rain )...cant really tell how good that blackfire wax is on these pics...it gives the car that hard-candy shine to it that i like...the wax is so soft...easy on and off...i just waxed by hand and buffed with a microfiber towel

She looks great Nam. Seeing results like this renews my faith that black is truly the pinnacle of all automotive colors. There is a signifigant amount of cash in your future if you come to the other side of town with your equipment and supplies and duplicate these same results on another OB that I know of...
True story. PM me if you're interested.

Nam,
I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed the Blackfire line of products. They do a great job creating that wet look or hard candy effect that you described. You're already being requested to detail other peoples cars, that says a lot! Thanks for sharing your results, keep it up!
George

thanks for all the comments...i say "never buy a black car" and i broke my own rule when buying this G...
anyway, it took me 2 days to do this, but i'm lazy....i did it in parts. I think if i did it straight, it would prolly take about 6-7 hrs...my G has been kept pretty clean (thanks to George with Detailed Image) so it wasn't hard to do.
