OB G37 After detailing: Zaino FTW
So when I got my car it looked far from perfect, it was already pretty swirly. And combination of dealership screwups (washing my car when I asked them not to) and being overwhelmed with the sheer amount of swirls (the paint actually looked hazy, and like giant continuous swirls across the entire vehicle, specifically the doors and right behind the c pillar) I decided to do something about it.
(no image enhancing has been done, other than whiting out the license plates)
and my favorite

Sorry I forgot to white out my plates.. hahaha. But I don't have any before pix.. trust me it looked really really really bad, like continuous mini swirls, to combine and make super swirls, on the c pillar, trunk, doors, and the hood looked hazy with 7 or 8 long swirls up and down the hood.

ugh well first off my paint was really bad and it was my first time using my UDM but it probably took me 13-14 hours over the span of 2 days to complete I also taped off all the trim, windows and lights.
After washing the car with dawn to strip off the wax, clay bar, and a regular wash
Polishing:
1. Sonus swirl buster
2. 3 coats of z5
3. 1 coat of carnuba
4. 2 coats z2
Quick detailer after each coat

so some of you may ask why I used a sealant and wax well this is how it was explained to me.
Sealant gives the paint a metallic/mirror like surface and lasts a few months when properly cared for.
Wax gives the paint depth but lasts only a couple of months.
So to get the best of both worlds put a layer of wax between the sealants the wax will also stay on for longer as it is protected by the sealant

damn thats so reflective...
i just washed my car for the first time since i got it... does anyone feel "specks" in the paint? when i run my fingers through the hood of the car that's what i feel.. deters me from waxing.... should i just re-wash? scrub harder? use different car wash?
