What should i do?

I didnt notice it until today but on the ceiling of my car by the sun roof theres a pen mark. I dont know how it got there or who did it but i have to be more careful now. What do you guys recommend to get to clean it? I dont want to try something and make it worse.

Get it clayed. If you don't know how to do it yourself then take it to a good detailer and get it detailed.

Elbach - do you mean the pen mark is on the cloth headliner on the inside of the car?
If it's normal ink, rubbing alcohol or hairspray that contains alcohol should help lift it if it's not too old. I would definitely try it on an out of the way area first to make sure it doesn't stain.
I wouldn't try beer, vodka, etc even if that's all you have!
(that would be a waste of good alcohol...)

not kidding here. milk takes out ink. my girlfriend left an inkpen open on my microfiber sofa. tried everything and nothing worked. researched on line for a while and came across this bit of info. and tried it. ink was gone almost immediately.

But yeah its in the inside of the car on the passenger side by the opening of the sunroof. Things like this make me want to just ride by myself, or just inspect everybody who comes in the car lol....

i think the milk got it off is because milk is slightly acidic. so orange juice would probably work also, so after you are done with taking the mark off with the juice, you can lick it up.

+1 for having used aerosol hairspray and alcohol. I know both of these will work and probably leave less of a stain than the milk. Never tried that one. The key is to break the stain down with the solvent then gently BLOT the ink out with a clean towel turning frequently, don't wipe and smear it.

i tried hairspray and alchohol on my couch. neither one worked for me. i think i found the milk thing on martha stewarts site. the ink came up almost immediately with the milk, then i used turtle wax upholstry cleaner to on a terrycloth towel to dab up the milk.

I have the same mark; passenger side -- Dealer or factory did it during their prep.

What color is your head liner? any water marking or spotting from the Alcohol?

I have the stone interior so its that light color. And no it didnt leave a water mark or stain i was happy about that at first its going to look wet then its going to dry up. just put a lil alcohol on the towel ur going to use and apply gently.
