well, I suffered my first scratch on the metal interior door pull trim. With the auto seat controls wedged down deep, apparently my watch caught the trim leaving an annoying 2" scar (with some other faint scratches).... looks like a 5 year old doodled on it

out of curiosity, how much is this part if I decided to replace it?

they really could have done a better job with seat control placement

I scratched mine during my weekend demo the same way. I made them replace it when I decided to take the car. Problem is if it had the brushed washi finish you would never notice it but the door pulls are plain tin. I think its a 15-20.00 part. I covered my door pulls and the step over floor sill's in clear and black plastic tape respectively.

Someone posted that it's about in the $30 range if my memory is correct. However, there was a post of upgrades on the '09 models and one is the Washi trim instead of that plastic looking piece that's currently on the door handles. I'll have them as soon as they are available.
