I had a 1 inch surface scratch in the passenger door washi trim when I picked up my car. Covered it up with a silver metallic Sharpie marker. Worked like charm for me.

Are you one of those people who keep their sofas and other furniture covered in clear vinyl?

i put the clear bra stuff on the interior handles, the washi stip on the door and passenger airbag and a small piece on the diagram shift pattern near the shift console, as well as some of the other interior stuff that i dont want scratched, it is phenomenal ( i am also almost done putting one on the entire exterior of the car, about 80% complete, I dont want to be the guy with an OB that has way too many swirl marks, **** maybe but the paint will look better and have a higher resale value if i do choose to sell the car when the next G comes out lol), if you guys want i can make them.

i will post them when i get a chance, basically it makes the washi look really shiny almost like a really glossy clear coat. The regualar aluminum on the door handles have a really reflective look almost like glass.

Let's say if for any reason in the future you want to take the clear film off from the handle, do you think it is still safe? Would that pull out the coating (if there is any on top of the metal)? If it is very shinny on the Washi trim, it may not good for eyes when it is very sunny outside.

Oh, do you have the clear bra guy do it for you or you are doing it yourself?

i doubt it will pull off the clear coat if it even has a clear coat. This stuff was made to go on and come off without damaging anything. It appears very shinny on the washi trim and the shimmer usually catches my peripheral vision while driving but nothing to the level of blinding and I live in SoFla. I do all the installations myself. Don't really car to have someone else mess with my car when I can do it myself.

Infiniti, aka Nissan should have used quality materials on the door handle. Another wish for the '09 model.

You know guys having now spent some time with my car I realize that if Nissan had just made the door pull trim in the same finish as the Washi paper look everywhere else, you would never see any scratches. I can't imagine why they just used cheap plain metal trim on the pulls.
