Sap :-(

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get Sap off?

My Work parking lot is covered in trees that drip. No fun at all.

the only thing i can think of is clay bar it or take some dish soap and rinse that area so that lay of clear coat can be remove. then you polish, glaze, then wax. do not take my word for it.

I usually try to treat it with a paint degreaser, specifically something like Stoner Tarminator, which works great on sap, tar, bug splatter and more. If that doesn't work I usually try some Isopropyl Alcohol, soak it in a towel and put it on the sap. After letting it sit for a minute or two, I'll try to pick at the top of the sap (NOT touching the paint with your fingernails) and usually it will come off, but may leave a ring around where the sap was. From there, you can use a clay bar and polish to remove any remaining marks. Be sure to protect your paint with a quality sealant or wax afterwards.

removing pine tree sap -- agree Meguiar's Cleaner Wax Liquid was effective

I agree Meguiar's Cleaner Wax Liquid was effective, vs. the quick detailer which was wearing my fingers thru the microfiber to try to remove the stuff. first took little pieces of t-shirt material to pick up most of the still gooey sap, then used the microfiber (costco) towel and the cleaner wax to remove the thin, more dry scabs of sap left. Isopropyl alcohol would seem to remove any wax and possibly do more harm...especially when it flips into your eyes.
