Scotchguard?

Has anybody done this to the carpet in their G or in previous cars? Does it work well?

After the coffee mishap I want to protect my interior and prevent another disaster. How hard would it be to remove the seats?

Thanks for your replies.

I did it to my car, but I only Scotchguarded the floor mats. I didn't do the carpet throughout the car. The floormats didn't change color.

I personally protect all of my carpet and upholstery with 303 High Tech Fabric Guard. It does a good job of preventing stains from settling in and also helps prevent liquids from absorbing into the fibers. I recommend using a smaller pump spray bottle which will help maximize your product use and dispense the product more evenly.

^^^Tell me about it...especially with Stone. I used 4 cans of Scotchguard on the carpets and mats. Fixed the stain with an expensive a$$ spray carpet dye.
