Sorry im in New Jersey lol...
Ummm just as an example imagine you took a piece of 400 grit sandpaper and swiped your paint. Now you cant just use some polish to get it out. You would have to wet sand it with 600 then 800 then 1000 ect... You have to do it in steps...
So what you first have to do it figure out how bad it is. May take a picture of it and post it. Make sure its in the sun and you see all scratches really well. Then we can better help you out. You only want to sand/compound/polish as abrastive as you have to since you are actually removing clear coat...

Yep, you can order their products on line. Regarding your question about a simple buff...it's hard to determine without first looking at the swirls, scratches, etc before recommending a specific polishing compound and/or buffing. Good luck...
