I'm thinking of getting stillen gen 3 Intake, and was wondering g which do you think is better dry or oiled filters?

I would go with dry.

Always worry about over-oiling and getting a film of oil on the MAF sensor and either getting a code , limp mode or both.

I would and did go with oiled. Cry is less maintenance, but oiled lets less smaller debris into the engine. And you only have to oil about once every 50,000 miles according to K&N and the process is very simple, you can even get oil in an aersol can if you're afraid of over oiling, it spits it out in a thinner film...I think.

Well you are right 50,000 is realistically a long *** time, and know of place that gives you a good deal on one?

 

I went with oil filter gen3 CAI and I basically wash and oil mine every summer but it a bitch to dry tho so u have to let it sit in the sun for few days.

Not a good deal at all. Im considering a Takeda short ram for $300US.

 

Why would you get the short for $300 when you can get the Takeda CAI for $350
