Headlight Painting - Vancouver

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone wants to do a group headlight painting or something along those lines.

I have never painted any headlights. I was hoping someone could help me/group to do this?

Any Interest?

I was hoping that we can get enough guys together and maybe do a BBQ as well as a headlight painting night sort of a DIY party lol. I know on driver they did something similar in Toronto last year.

The only thing would be that you bring your own paint for your own headlights. It would be great if someone had a heat gun or something like that to use.

diy party is good.
but not for headlights

takes 20 mins per headlight
20 x 2 x X number of ppl can be a loooooooooooooong time

you also want to be in a dust free environment

quality paint will also need to be applied

i will be painting my headlights soon
i'll let everyone know before i paint them so that you can do the same

i have a crap load of parts coming in so i'm def down for a diy day...
or 2... or 3...

i want to paint my lights too, but i would recommend you having at least 48 hour drying time before reassembling....or else the fumes from the paint will damage the lens.

There WAS a guy who was posting on craigslist for the service, my friend actually knows him and he was quite involved in painting 350z and g35 headlights....i'll see if i can find him again

I'm just scared to do it myself. Even a small group or do it over 2 days or something like that

Adon. I don't know if he's doing them anymore... I'd still want my shop to paint them.

Kevin,

I'm down to set a date for this. I've seen some people use a hairdryer to speed up the processing instead of waiting 48hrs. I don't have 48hrs to wait lol

you can't rush when it comes to painting headlights, i use to do it when i was still in the honda scene, and even i won't attempt working on the infiniti lights....i've seen some pretty nasty ***** ups which cost the owner to buy new headlights...honda headlights are cheap ($300 each)....i can't say the same for your infiniti headlights....
